Maple is the lightest finish in the hexagon range. A pale, creamy blond timber with a fine straight grain, it keeps a room bright and open while the honeycomb relief does all the visual work. It is the easiest of the four to live with day to day, and the most forgiving next to white walls, light oak floors and pale joinery.
Each panel is a cluster of large hexagonal tiles laid out in a honeycomb pattern on a black acoustic felt backing. The felt shows through the joints and around the stepped edge, giving the wall real depth and shadow – and doing the acoustic work behind the scenes by absorbing reflected sound instead of bouncing it back into the room.
Because the outline of every panel is a honeycomb edge rather than a straight one, panels interlock as you add them. Run a few for a compact feature, or tile a whole wall and the joins disappear into the pattern.

The panels are light, cut cleanly and fix straight to a prepared flat wall with adhesive or screws, so a feature wall is a weekend job rather than a trade fit-out. Mix finishes across a wall for a graded or two-tone effect, or keep to one for a calm, uniform surface.
